I want to play a vapid bimbo with social skills and phenomenal cosmic powers... Like Anna Nicole Smith with magic!

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
I kinda seem him as being the spoiled son of a noble family that, fell in with a bad crowd. Ultimately he exalted when his "friends" deserted him in the forest to die and he had to survive on his own near linnowan territory. I think he received aid from a Linnowan man and they fell in love (secretly of course), he wants to see both peoples mingle and become one powerful eastern nation that could stand up to the realm, should it ever need to. this is all basic i have to really sit down and work out the details

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
Is this an online play by post type game? Or IRC?
Are newbies allowed? I've played Exalted since it came out, but I'm new to games played online.
Is your game being played as canon? Anything different? Same time frame?
I've got some concepts in mind for either the simul-exaltation, or the individual.
Group:
Son of a LT or other officer in the Lookshy officer corps who went off to seek glory instead of following his abusive Dragon-Blooded father's footsteps into a military career. (Unknown to the character is that his father's abuse at first stemmed form trying to force an exaltation and later form the shame of it never taking)
And we can work out how I fell in with this group of suspicious characters.
(Exalt likely Dawn with all the martial training)
Individual:
Son of Bull of the North, exalted and ran for fear of his father killing him as a potential threat.

I am planning on running the game via Voice over IP, through skype. all I ask is that you have a decent mic and skype. newbies are fine though.

I would totally consider playing if my internets could support skype.
I loves me some Linowa.

They just look so badass in there wooden armor and feathers. Granted the realm connection is bleh, but if you're a Solar that kinda gets tossed out the window anyhow.

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
ooh heres an update for my idea since it seams we are hammering them out here.... so i wanted a rivle of sorts possable a childhood friend human or wolfman doesnt matter to me althou i have some perks over human he would be better an being accepted to normal socitie... ithink your tribe/vilge is at a socitie lvl of about the darkages like central/eastern europ fromthe time of the grims and other horrable farie tales were being thought up.... only we have beastmen so we know they dotn eat people anyway he and i went intothe scouting action job stuff and were fairly competitive the whole time maybe, i was thinkging, he was envyous of my "gifts" and tryed to kill me out on the job away from everything ,there a great many dangers in the woods you know, so anyway i could have lost my eye in this battle and he lost his face(rep not literlaly) oh also i could have exalted here if we arent doing it simultanius.... he could have aswell but as an infernal if the ark calls or i could have thrown him to his death were he was resurected or even just came back as an ansister or one of theose ghostlake forest things gothim eather way he Way doesnt like me now i was thinkging

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
the day is still up in the air, as I will be starting school soon, so I do ot know what times I will have free. I hope to start in about three/four weeks.
so far I have namelessjoe, cameraobscura, maakrabe, Carol, and maybe cheaterbane or Joel, as I have not heard definites from either of you.
as for time, I am leaning toward sometime in the week, like Thursday nights. but that is just a random thought, and I need to know what works for everyone.

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
Well I'm actually gonna be jobless and collecting unemployment in September cause I'm getting laid off so I could make Thursdays work. Alex could you spare a laptop? I don't want to haul my desktop to your house once a week.
I'll commit as much as I am able. If I get a stellar job opportunity and they demand the day we play I'll have to bail naturally.
Concept so far is a Linowa exile (mostly cause a Linowa still in good standing would be expected to kill quite a bit of the people in the northeast).
Caste is still up in the air. We going for a perfect circle? Male naturally. I'll most likely read up on some Native American history/mythology for inspiration.
Altho reading all the social merits is making me want to play a pretty boy.

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
Alright questions for Jake. Are we playing in the standard time setting? Are things pretty canon in your northeast? Has the Bull been particularly active? I was thinking of using him in my back story, and just wanted to make sure he's still the same Bull.
