Re: Exalted:Jakes game
ok so as those of you who know and play withme in your groups i have gobs of dude ideas.... talking to joel last night i thought/mencioned a relic hunter/collecter and though it may be neat to have a guy do that..... oh are we going to do the exaltation to gether or apart? sounds liek we may be apart ifso this guy was looting a tomb for anciant wonders and such(bootie) and it happend to be a night casts and through sevrail near deth traps(crushing attacks and such poision darts are fun too) he exalted and by coindence it was the shard that belonged to this tumb(tomb whatever just not a book
) holder so he baisecly reincarded in his resting place..... he was a sneak with mad skills assassin(throwback maybe lol) (i seam to be on a prenthesis kick lately idk why) but now he uses his skills and powers (to play dnd on a point buy system, no!) to be even sneakyer.... since it in the north i was thinking eather a normal human from farther north or one of the bird men or acient race of the north for wings action but it was a thought i konw ill have atleast 1 more consept ill need to make befor im done and choose one but ya
i guess this is my thought on covering the night side to make a perfict circle or as close to it .... oh or maybe a dajila with a viking helm

Now I feel torn I was looking through my stash of already written and never played characters and quite a few of them would work well in the Northeast since I tend to build northerners. Quite a few of them feel brand new too since I finally have merits and flaws to use. Yearg!

And all of them will ruin Exalted for Jake as he realizes there is nothing can do to slow the unstoppable beast that is Joel in an Exalted game. Both with his prowess of character creation, expert dice rolling skills and superior fantasy anti-logic.

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
We're using an online dice roller I assume. I don't comprehend what my superior fantasy anti-logic is. My character generation prowess is something that I'll grudgling admit to. I mean life is math.
I still don't know what I want to play. I don't really feel the urge to be a monster in any particular field altho playing social characters is alot of fun. I kinda want to know what other people are playing so I don't step on any toes role wise.
To use another game as a refrence: Multiple Street Samurai are almost always useful, but you usually only need one face.

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
I kinda want to play Zenken my dawn caste, but he may not fit the game well. Gyargh! It's hard to decide. Maybe I'll just send Jake a million and a half characters and let him pick for me.

Oh don't forget your amazing Exalted Errata. Errata Team Prime has been working hard to fix things.

why would he not fit? I have only the most bare-bones plot at this point. is he an anti-social freak or something?

yeah that should work, maybe you could work out a different look and a special effect when it is in use? that should be totally doable though. the artifact will probably be two dots, though I will have to sit down and finish stating it out.

Kinda? My concept for him is a man who lives to fight. He's been fighting so long that he doesn't really know how to do anything else, and somewhere along the line the thrill of violence became his greatest joy. He lives to challenge himself by fighting the strongest he can find. He pursues his goal with reckless abandon. He's very much morally grey which I know bothers you at times.
On the slightly positive side he typically won't kill his opponents once defeated unless he thinks that they have no potential to ever truly test him, or really upset him, or if they insist on dying. If only because he knows if his opponents are dead they'll never fight him again. He doesn't pull punches in a fight, but he won't finish a downed man. He likes people well enough and does feel a sense of brotherhood with other solars. He hold no real enmity to any group in creation because every group offers him a different challenge in combat.
I have half a dozen other concepts too of course.

Sounds like Kenpachi from Bleach.

He kinda is
It would be a very different character for me to play. I usually play characters who try not to fight unless it serves a purpose. Characters who have really achieveable goals.

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
OK, so we have a cast of characters. I need a finalized roll call and a reason for your characters to be together. you do not have to know each other or even be all that friendly, but you do need a reason to work together. so if you guys could work that out we can then get started with the game, and fun will be had by all...I hope!!

Re: Exalted:Jakes game
I'm in. I'd really kinda like to know what everyone else is doing so I don't step on toes with my character. If I go with Zenken I'll be on the brute squad, but I don't want other people to feel overshadowed by whichever character I decide on.
