[Supers] character questions
sorry forgot to mention, we are using the second method of creation.(the book has a horrid description of that, I apologize) we will be building characters of power level three. you will have 120 points to build your character with. you have a maximum of ten points in disadvantages(pg.12-pg.19), and a maximum of fifteen ranks in super powers(pg.32-pg.55). you spend the points as on the list at the bottom of page three(listed under Dice Pools & Power Levels).
4 points = 1 attribute die(pg.4, see also pg.40-pg.41)
1 point = 1 skill die(pg.8-pg9, see also pg.83-pg.91)
1 point = 3 skill specializations(pg.4)
advantages(pg.20-pg.24) and super powers(pg.32-pg.55) have there own prices listed with the description
you need at least 1D in all attributes(human maximum is 5D, though with powers this can go higher)
maximum number of dice that can be added to any one skill or specialization is 3D.
also I am changing one of the rules, you no longer can use character points(pg.25-pg.26, pg.62) for improving rolls(pg.61-pg.62). the reason I am doing this is that character points(pg.25-pg.26, pg.62) are used for experience, so spending them during the game is giving up a long term advantage for a short term game. this causes people who horde them to end up more powerful(game balance wise) than those who spend them. also you have the Ka(pg.5,pg.62) stat which can do the same thing. Fate points(pg.62) are unchanged.
also there will be no use of the Funds stat(pg. 5). as you will be playing teenagers, you can have any equipment that you think appropriate for a teen character. run any ideas past me first, but as long as you have a good reason for it, I will most likely be ok with it.

I'm sorry to ask this, but I've been having a little trouble putting together my character- is there any chance that you could post a simple tutorial? Or we could meet on YIM to go through it? Again, I'm really sorry- I've just never done this before.
