Exalted Mortals....

Post by Namelessjoe on Sat Oct 10, 2009 1:00 pm

So i was talking IRL to my peeps (hehehe) any way were cycleing through GM's to negate burnout and get better skills at gameing in gerneral you can be more nerrative and Role playie the wider your game base is and thebetter you are so anyway i was thinking and mencioned an Heroic Mortal game from exalted this would serve 2 prposes it would reinforce how gritty the setting can be that at the bottome of the totum poll you can be snuffed out(hopefullyy noone trys to fight a deatloard) and how good you have it as an exalt, as some of the players in my group think exalted is lame because of how powerfull you are..... also it woudl be a neat new perspective of the setting, but i figured while brushing up on the rules my self id mencion it here to get reminders and or ideas for a story arc......

Thanks in advanced guys
Alex

Not a bad idea, playing as mortals in the Exalted universe to help in that perspective. Seems to easy otherwise to overlook regular people and otherwise how squishy they are when one could barely lift a grand daiclaive and have no charms to aid in... anything.

Just made myself think of a scene from Shakugan No Shana, two normal boys trying to lift what is otherwise a grand daiclaive, and a smaller girl who isn't normal flings it around with one hand easily.

ya you have to worrie about staunched wounds and virulence and deseese and maiming..... you know a long term mortal campaign is pretty gritty now that i've re read the rules.....
