Well then, it's back to square n00b for me.

I've never played a West End title before, and of the shows/films you listed, the only one I ever saw was Zoom. So I'd like to play, but would need to be properly introduced to the whole system first.

Well, definitely count me in whenever the game actually starts... Speaking of superhero type things, has anyone seen the new Middleman series? Or read the old comic book? I love both... not that they're actually super heroes, I'm just putting that out there.

Hrm, now that I'm more awake, I realized that Paranoia was published by West End.

So the game system will be like that, then? Odd calling it d6, when it was d20's that got rolled for ability checks.

it is not the same system as paranoia. the D6 system started with the ghost busters rpg, then the star wars rpg, now it is just the D6 system. you roll a handful of D6s and add the dice together. the result is compared to a target number to dictate success.

So which book am I supposed to pick up for the core rules? I see 3 listed at West End's site. The pdfs look like they're still on sale for $13 each, I could swing paying that.

Do I want the 1st edition or the one that says d6? Or would either work?

Thursdays during the day would be problematic for me right now. Sunday during the day would be impossible.

so then it appears that we are leaning toward Wednesday night? this works well for me, if you have any complaints or problems let me know. also if you are having trouble finding the book for the game PM me and we will set something up to fix that issue.

Make sure you post the gametime and date and what program we'll be using to play on the calendar.
