that still needs to be discussed, what is the best way to go about this? I would like very much to do voice chat of some sort. it has a level of immediacy that works well with role playing. push comes to shove though, I will run via regular chat. does anyone have a preference? or a preferred chat method or ideas? also we need to have the characters created, which I have yet to see. I would like to be able to go over the characters before the game begins.

I reccomend using the Yahoo IM it has a voice chat but at the same time allows chatters to post text as well as share images. It's also free.

I second the YIM w/voice suggestion.

I just now finished d/ling the rulebook, am feeling rather dull-witted from my shift today though so I probably won't get as far as rolling a character up until tomorrow night.

I'm not a huge fan of yahoo. I use AIM and MSN mostly. I do like the digi chats those seem to work well for games for me.

Ok, I used that "form" to make the character sheet, hit submit, and...

...where did it go? Will it email it to me? Or to somebody? It was just a first draft, and I really don't want to go through all of the math and agonizing over choices again.

Digi is what most of the online chats work off of now. Like where your mage got wacked by the garou. Thats a digi chat. THe chatz link is pretty close to digi.

Yeah, but our Chatzy link does not support voice. MSN only supports voice between two people. AIM supports voice chat though I've had serious lag issues when using AIM voice.

BTW The reason I place so much emphasis on voice is that some of us are better talkers than writers or typists.

I would very much like to have a copy of my char sheet emailed to me, because it's a first draft and there are parts of it that still need to be fleshed out and/or adjusted.

The Background so far...

The town of Winterfalls Idaho, population 20,000. you are the class of 2011, and you just started the school year. Winterfalls high is your typical small town high school. the primary businesses of Winterfalls are ranching, logging, and mining. there are the the other standard jobs, restaurants, hotels, small town TV and radio, there is even a mall(nicknamed "the hallway), though it is rather small. all in all it is a normal, average, and "Boring" town. the town is nestled in a small valley in northwestern Idaho, about forty miles from Coeur d'Alene. your characters will start off as typical high school students on their way to an archeological dig sight for a field trip. on that trip is when things will go a little strange. you gain your powers all from an event that occurs on the field trip.(sorry that is a little railroady, I hope you all forgive me, I will try to do that as minimally as possible.) if you have any questions about the setting put them in this thread. if you have any questions about characters put that in the thread for character questions in the characters section. thank you.
