And regarding Romance, I'd have to say it depends on how it happens. Having two players who keep making lovey dovey eyes at each other can ruin a game quite quickly, while something romantically involved in the game itself (even between two players) can help set the foundation and/or move a story.

Does romance have to ruin a gaming group? I've seen it work out alright. Wink

You could always talk about the things taken for granted in fantasy settings, or how near future and not so near future settings are doomed to a constant revision due to unforeseen modern changes.

Like how Shadowrun was really kinda forced to lose the wired net in 4th because wireless is advancing so fast in our time.

NEED HELP!!

Post by Jake on Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:08 pm

so I was trying to think of podcast topics to discuss...and I hit a brick wall, metaphorically speaking of course. anyway, I was wondering if any of you out there had any gaming related stories/topics/whatever that you would like to hear about on the podcast? if you do would you mind sharing, I can come up with one, but it is usually at the last minute, so help would be welcome. thanks all.
